Chives

Young

Male · American Shorthair

  • Good with cats
  • Good with kids

Chives is a gentle, sweet-natured boy with a quiet heart and a loving soul. Rescued as a tiny kitten from a feral colony in Jeffersonville, he has blossomed into a much more confident cat while holding onto his calm, sensitive personality. Once Chives feels safe, his affectionate side shines. He loves gentle pets, leans into your touch, and absolutely adores belly rubs. His trust is deeply rewarding, making every moment of affection feel special. Chives is also wonderful with other cats. He enjoys their company, gets along beautifully with his feline friends, and would likely thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help him feel secure. A calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a quiet cat with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, Chives is ready to find the family he's been waiting for.

Clancy

Young

Male · Domestic Shorthair

  • Good with cats
  • Good with kids

Clancy is a handsome orange tabby, estimated to be around 3–4 years old. He arrived at the rescue feeling very shy, but in less than a day he completely opened up and showed us what a sweet, affectionate boy he truly is. He enjoys exploring the cattery alongside the other cats and soaking up attention from his human friends. This gentle giant has a heart of gold and is ready to find a loving home of his own.

Mystic

Young

Female · Domestic Shorthair

  • Good with kids

Meet Mystic! This sweet, gentle mama has finished raising her kittens and is now spayed and ready for a loving home of her own. Mystic absolutely loves human affection and enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. She can be uneasy around other animals, so she would most likely thrive as the only cat in a calm, peaceful household where she can feel secure, soak up plenty of attention, and truly blossom.

Pebbles

Young

Female · American Shorthair

  • Good with cats
  • Good with kids

Pebbles is a lovely gray girl with a quiet, tender soul. While she’s a bit on the shy side at first, she truly loves attention and blossoms when given gentle affection. She enjoys being petted and is happiest when she can be close to her people, sharing calm moments and peaceful companionship. Pebbles isn’t a fan of being held, but she is patient and well-mannered when she needs to be transported or placed in a carrier. She never scratches or lashes out. She does wonderfully with other cats and would be a great fit for a home that appreciates a gentle, affectionate companion who shows her love in soft, meaningful ways. Once she trusts you, Pebbles will be a quiet little shadow, always nearby and happy just to be close.

Prince

Young

Male · Domestic Shorthair

  • Good with cats
  • Good with kids

Meet Prince, a handsome young cat believed to be less than a year old. He recently joined Rocky’s Refuge after appearing at a community cat colony cared for by one of our friends in South Fallsburg. Prince is healthy, playful, and wonderfully affectionate. He enjoys the company of other rescue cats, but people are his favorite especially when there’s an available lap! This sweet, social boy is ready to bring plenty of love and fun to his forever home.

Shelly

Young

Female · American Shorthair

  • Good with cats
  • Good with kids

Shelly is a beautiful young tortie with striking markings and a tender heart. She came to us feral, but she has made wonderful progress and continues to grow in confidence. She has opened up to people and now enjoys receiving pets and gentle affection. Shelly may still need a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment, but her quiet determination to trust has allowed her sweet personality to shine. She is also athletic and adventurous and enjoys exploring her surroundings with curiosity and grace. Shelly gets along well with other cats and could be a lovely companion for a friendly feline with a thoughtful introduction. She is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe, build confidence, and enjoy the affection she has learned to love.
